Enjoying a sense of well-being and feeling safe have always been our top priority here at the Stanglwirt and the two go hand-in-hand. It goes without saying that we have always maintained the very highest standards of hygiene and comply with all guidelines. In line with the special green cleaning concept devised for us in collaboration with the experts at Hollu, we have increased the number of cleaning and disinfecting intervals as we ensure the best possible care for all our guests and staff.
In addition, a regular staff testing regime has been in place since we re-opened following lockdown. By adopting this approach, we offer maximum protection against COVID-19 through voluntary, weekly tests conducted by a certified, Austrian medical laboratory. An efficient testing strategy for the Stanglwirt and the entire tourist region has been developed in cooperation with local relief and emergency services as well as the Wilder Kaiser tourism association. Samples are tested within 24 hours using the PCR method, which is officially recognised as the most reliable form of testing.
Of course the tests alone do not guarantee 100% protection against a potential coronavirus case. However, they do represent a significant tool in our armoury – in particular due to the repeat nature of the tests – to allow us to respond rapidly and effectively to any suspected case of COVID-19 and so ensure the best protection for all our guests and staff, even in these unprecedented times.
The safety seal of the "Safe A" project verifies that our staff are professionally tested on a weekly basis over an extended period of time, so you can get on with enjoying a relaxing stay ...at home at the Stanglwirt!
