World SPA & Wellness Awards 2020

The World Spa & Wellness Awards are the most prestigious prizes in the international spa and beauty industry. They are awarded to companies that leave their mark on the industry and are instrumental in its development.

This accolade recognises and rewards the best hotels, resorts and destination spas from around the world that offer excellence in their products, services and treatments.

Only 15 spa hotels and resorts won a World Spa & Wellness Award in 2020. We are therefore hugely honoured to announce that the Green Spa Resort Stanglwirt impressed the judges at this year's edition of the distinguished awards and has won in the 'Sustainable Spa of the Year' category!

We are over the moon to receive such a major international accolade in these challenging times, and we would like to thank our loyal guests and the illustrious jury for giving us this boost. We take this as a clear sign that we should continue our beautifully balanced blend of luxury and sustainability with heart, soul and professionalism. It's a philosophy that we have been following with deep conviction since the 1970s – long before 'green' was all the rage!
