The furniture is all solid wood, the bathrobes and towels are made of terry towelling and pure cotton, the carpets are made of top-quality sheep's wool and all the quilt covers and sheets are in the finest linen.
Our restaurants
In winter, the cosy Stangl Alm dining room is an inviting place to savour the flavour of your Stanglwirt stay beside an open fire, accompanied by the soothing sounds of the zither.
And more culinary highlights await you in our hotel restaurant. With the Stanglwirt breakfast, offering a tempting choice of home-made delicacies from local farmers, the daily changing, multi-course menus and the themed buffet evenings, surely every wish is catered for.
Horse riding
Our noble Lipizzaner stud is Elisabeth Hauser's favourite hobby horse. The horse-loving youngest daughter of the family runs the riding school at the Stanglwirt with great enthusiasm and, with her well-trained team, will show you how wonderful the world can be when seen from horseback. Enjoy all the fine features of the Austrian horse of royalty on a ride at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain. You'll love it!

Horse-drawn carriage ride
Anyone who would like to add the finishing touch to their stay at the Stanglwirt with an unusual tour of discovery will find that a horse-drawn carriage ride is probably one of the nicest ways to explore the Wilder Kaiser region.
Skiing
Skiing is as much a part of the Stanglwirt as fine food and relaxing wellness. In the Kitzbühel winter, ski enthusiasts at the Stanglwirt are perfectly placed to take advantage of the top-class amenities that are just a few minutes away.
Cross-country skiing
Guests who definitely don't want to neglect their fitness during their Tyrolean winter holiday can use no fewer than four perfectly prepared cross-country skiing trails directly in the hotel grounds. These are bound to set anybody's pulse racing!
Tennis
Fans of the yellow felt ball can expect tennis in a big way in the Stanglwirt. With six indoor courts (Bross Line granules) and eight outdoor courts (sand), you have a great deal of space available to rally and exchange shots. Not only that, but the facilities at the prestigious and world famous "Peter Burwash International Tennis School" (PBI) are ideal for improving your individual technical, tactical and mental skills.
Christkindl market
t the loveliest time of the year, a visit to the Stanglwirt becomes a feast for the senses. The Stanglwirt Christkindl market on the terrace of the historic inn takes you back to the good old days, reviving ancient pre-Christmas customs in a convivial atmosphere.
New Year's Eve Party
For anyone who wants to see out the old year in style and welcome in the New Year with an amazing party, the big Stanglwirt New Year's Eve Party is definitely the place to be. In the Lipizzaner riding arena and at the "Auf der Tenne" hotel bar, the New Year's Eve Party makes the turn of the year a truly memorable spectacle. After the big firework display, shortly after midnight we serve up a hearty Tirolean midnight snack, before the party continues into the small hours.
The Stanglwirt Weisswurstparty
If you want to conquer the Streif ski run, you need not just courage but also pretty strong legs. That's how the Weisswurstparty at the Stanglwirt began, originally a friendly regular event for the daredevil skiers in the Hahnenkamm race. If people could have imagined the size that this legendary party would one day reach, then perhaps even more foolhardy skiers would have gone tearing down probably the most famous ski racing course in the world.
